Welcome, Rachael!
I've been trying to generate interest in the idea of an Invisible College. I am involved in the Bard College Clemente Course, whose students are in large part women. It's more established than the aforementioned idea, but the Socratic method is transferable to fields other than the humanities.

Anyway, just thought you may find the Invisible College Group on here useful. Sorry for the verbal diarrhea.
