Venture Capital for IT Entrepreneur's
For those interested in VC... A few friends of mine won the DreamIT Ventures program for their technology vuzit (www.vuzit.com). After learning more about the program I thought this would be a perfect fit for Jeffco.
My understanding is that this VC firm will be running another few rounds of investments and seed money for up and coming small IT companies in the last qtr of 2008.

Here is the gist... you present your prototype to a panel, including VCs, Financial brokers, CEOs and top level executives from a various companies. If your technology is worth investment you get seed money.
Now, we have a lot of talent here in Jeffco, we need to start channeling energy and start promoting these talents.
If anyone is interested I would be happy to make the connections to discuss this in more detail with those who have been through the program.
